The Master Chicken Tractor by McCallum - 8 Chickens in style and comfort
The Master Chicken Tractor is for those who want more than a few chickens and have the space to accommodate them. Master models sell particularly well in regional areas such as the Northern Rivers in NSW, the Gippsland in VIC and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland in QLD. At 2715mm long and 1800mm wide, it accommodates around 8 birds on a full time basis, or up to 14 if you are free-ranging them all day.
The height of 900mm gives your chickens plenty of head room, but allows you to place the tractor under a tree for shade in summer. This tractor is made from galvanised steel, galvanised mesh and Colorbond sheeting, and is fully welded and bolted.
Access to eggs is provided by a conveniently located lift up lid at waist height. Your chickens have their own front access door, which can be padlocked if you wish.
The additional mobility provided by the wheels and trolley allows you to move the tractor around your yard, thus spreading the manure load over the largest possible area whilst minimising cleaning. Master Chicken Tractors are currently in use on a number of vineyards, allowing chickens to graze between the rows of vines, thus fertilising the ground and reducing the weed and pest burden.
The Master is ideal for those on small acreage, especially if you plan to leave your chickens for a few days at a time and want to give them plenty of space during your absence.

When assembled the Master measures 2715mm (l) * 1820mm (w) * 920mm (h).
Options
This listing is for a mobile Master Chicken Tractor with wheels and a trolley. If you do not wish to move your Master model around the yard, then please view our "Master Chicken Coop" - same size, but no wheels.
Colour
Possibly the biggest decision you will need to make is colour. We can offer you three choices - Our most popular colour is Pale Eucalypt (Light Green), followed by Cottage Green (Dark Green) and finally Classic Cream.
Foxmesh
If you live in an area with foxes, then you will probably need foxmesh. You have two options - you can put the mesh on the underside of the tractor or you can place is around the outside edge of the tractor in a 'skirt' position.
